I’m a multi-discipline, mixed media artist (not a jack of all trades). Working as a contemporary abstract artist trying to discover deeper connections of life with mark making with colour.
I
make art to encourage people to live deeply, love fearlessly, and be who you
want to be. I want the viewer to see through my eyes how beautiful and
dangerous life is. How to appreciate the sacred mysteries of this natural phenomena.
Ever
since I was a child I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of the
ocean. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corrupted into a hegemony of
futility, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the unlikelihood of
a new synthesis.
I’m
currently living my best life in a small Kentish coastal town called Deal. We
have a pebble beach, lots of bars and cafes and many castles surround our town.
Raising a small warrior boy called Jonah and I’m married to Neil and were still
awaiting to adopt a dog-friend at some point. I decided to set up my own art
practice late December 2018 after many years working for other artists and galleries,
I felt it was my time to enjoy working and have a life where I can be with my
family.
As
I say, I want to live and love… enjoy life!
